Steve's 40th SkyBirthday

On April 28, Steve Boyd, owner of Skydive Spaceland just south of Houston, Texas, celebrated the 40th anniversary of his first skydive. With his entire family present at Skydive Spaceland, he chose to spend some time in the air with his two sons Eric and Stephen (who also help run the drop zone) and several of the Spaceland staff on a 12-person skydive.

Spaceland Lite (4-way)

Spaceland Lite is an Open Class Four-Way formation skydiving team based at Skydive Spaceland in Houston, Texas. The team won Gold medals in the Advanced Class at the USPA National Championships in 2011, as well as the Dallas Super Cup and the Texas Showdown in the AAA Class and also won Bronze medals at the 2010 USPA National Championships. Spaceland Lite consists of Richard Rothery, Devon Shows, Katrina Shows, Christy West and Cory Kossan (video). The team is sponsored by Skydive Spaceland and Aerodyne Research.

Deguello 17 (16-way team)

Deguello 17 is a long-standing 16-person team (plus video) that has been captained by Jack Berke for more than 25 years at Skydive Spaceland. The team earns medals at nearly every USPA National Skydiving Championships events.
